The purpose of the free consultation is for us to get to know each other, discuss your learning objectives and, together, decide on a learning plan and a schedule that best suits your goals.
My regular hourly rate is $17.00 or €16.00 per session (55-60 min). Those apply for single projects and occasional services. Otherwise, lessons are paid in blocks of 5, 10, and 20 lessons. The more lessons you buy at a single time, the more you save. See details on the Pricing page.
You can pay for a single lesson for individual or short-term projects, such as proofreading, preparing a presentation, mock job/university interview or any other service that requires less than 5 sessions.
After we agree on a learning schedule and you decide on the type of package which best suits you, you can proceed to the Payment page on the website and click on the package that best suits you.
Payments are processed via PayPal. You do not necessarily need to have an account. Clicking on the payment button will take you to a PayPal payment page where you can choose whether to log into your account, create a new one or proceed by paying directly with your Credit or Debit Card. From the Scheduling page, select a date and time for your lesson. Before that, make sure your correct time zone is displayed. You will be asked to provide your name and email address. Once you complete your booking and receive a confirmation email to your email address, you do not need to send any additional messages in order to confirm your appointment. I will be notified and will be waiting for you at the specified date and time.
Of course, you can. We are only human and, every now and then, things that are beyond our control happen to us. It is only reasonable, and a matter of courtesy, to do so in a timely manner or, in the event of emergency, notify me as soon as possible.
Yes, we can. It is actually in your best interest to do so. You will be more likely to see progress by committing to a regular long-term study routine rather than having sporadic sessions once in a while.
It will be difficult for us to communicate if your English level is below lower intermediate. You will need to be able to understand basic instructions and explanations in English.
